Company Settles Charges of Selling Fake iPods

The Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs (OCA) has netted a $20,000 settlement with Shay Zvi Lahav and his companies for allegedly selling phony Apple Inc. iPods in several places including metro Atlanta malls. After receiving a tip on Nov. 28, 2007 the OCA sent undercover investigators to visit the iPod World kiosks, where they found several different items, ranging from FM transmitters to MP3 docking stations with speakers.
